General Rules: Feats - Bloodburn

Bloodburn [Alvari, Scion] (from Spells & Spellcraft)
You may cast spells at a higher level than your caster level.
   Prerequisite: Ability to spontaneously cast arcane spells.
   Benefit: Using this feat, you can increase their effective caster level when casting a spell, adding up to his Charisma modifier in levels. When you do so, you take 1d6 points of damage per effective caster level increase.
