This spell causes an object to glow like a torch, shedding bright light in a 20-foot-radius, and dim light for an additional 20 feet from the point you touch. The effect is immobile, but it can be cast on a moveable object. An
everlasting wizard light taken into an area of magical darkness does not function. Only the caster can see objects illuminated by this light source. All other creatures perceive the area per the normal lighting conditions. A creature using
true seeing can also see by the light of the
wizard’s light.
Material Component: A sapphire worth 250 shillings, which is powdered and sprinkled over the object touched.
Focus: A lens ground from black volcanic glass worth at least 25 shillings.
Experience Point Component: 50 experience points.
