Intoxicate (from
Relics & Rituals)
Transmutation
Level: Bard 2,
Sorcerer/Wizard 2
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 feet + 5 feet per 2 caster levels)
Target, Effect, or Area: One creature
Duration: 10 minutes per caster level
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates
Spell Resistance: Yes
If the target fails his Fortitude saving throw, he becomes intoxicated and loses 2 points of Dexterity, Intelligence, and Wisdom, which losses are immediately restored when
intoxicate expires. Multiple
intoxicate spells stack - an additional spell would cause an additional loss of 2 points of Dexterity, Intelligence, and Wisdom. if a victim is reduced to 0 in Dexterity, then he is
stunned. If he is reduced to zero in either Intelligence or Wisdom, then he falls unconscious. if attacked while unconscious, the target can reawaken for a number of rounds equal to his Constitution modifier before lapsing back into a stupor.
In addition to the effects above, the target has all of the behavior patterns typical to inebriation. Anyone trying to alter the attitude of an intoxicated non-player character may double their Charisma modifier for the check to do so.
Material component: One drop of pure grain alcohol.
