Campaign Design - Spells: Lucky Break

Lucky Break (found in the Book of Roguish Luck)
Enchantment (Compulsion)[Mind-Affecting]

Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: 40 feet
Target, Effect, or Area: All allies within a 40-foot-radius burst centered on you
Duration: Permanent until triggered
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)

d10
Roll Transformed
1 - 2
Saving throw
3 - 5
Skill check
6 - 10
Attack roll
One of the next failed rolls made by one of the targets of this spell becomes a success. Lódur chooses what type of roll is transformed, rather than the caster. The DM should roll d10 and consult the table to the right.

The DM should also roll a 1d4 to determine which roll is improved among those immediately following the casting of the spell. That is, a roll of a 1 means that the very next failed roll of the indicated type is improved, while a roll of 4 means that three rolls fail before one is changed.

The subjects cannot be under the effects of more than one lucky break spell at a time.
