Campaign Design - Spells: Protection from Light

Protection from Light (from Gods)
Abjuration

Level: Cleric/Favored Soul 1
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close (25 feet + 5 feet per 2 caster levels)
Target, Effect, or Area: 5-foot per caster level radius centered on a creature, object, or point in space
Duration: Five minutes per caster level
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)

Protection from light creates a dull radius of shade that absorbs light and lessens the effects on creatures that are sensitive to the sun and other bright lights. Creatures within this radius do not receive penalties from sunlight, such as those caused by an orc's light sensitivity. Protection from light does not counter any magical source of light created by a spell higher than first level.
