General Rules: Feats - Specialist Dispelling

Specialist Dispelling [Metamagic] (from Relics & Rituals II)
You have learned to use your understanding of the spells of your specialty school to disrupt the casting of others' spells.
   Prerequisite: Specialist wizard level 1^st+.
   Benefit: You are able to counterspell by expending a prepared spell from your school of specialization rather than the exact spell being cast. In order to counter spells of your opposed schools, you must use a spell of a level equal to or higher than the spell to be countered; all other spells require a spell at least one level higher than the one being countered. You may not use this feat to counter spells of your specialist school; you must use normal counterspelling for those spells.
