Arcane Power Increase (from Path of Magic)

• Affinity: Bardic Singing.


• Cost: One spell slot of at least the same level as the affected spell.


• Perform DC: 20.


• Effect: When this effect is activated, the effective level of the allied caster's spell is increased by one plus one additional level for every five points by which the bard exceeds the DC of the Perform check. This level increase is used only for determining the level-dependent elements of the spell (saving throws and dispel difficulty, for example), and the spell may not be raised above 9^th level.


• Miscast: On a miscast, the spell's effective level is reduced by an amount equal to the bard's Charisma modifier (minimum of 1).
