General Rules: Bardic Performance Effects - Duration Increase

Duration Increase (from Path of Magic)
  • Affinity: Bardic Singing.

  • Cost: One spell slot of no more than three levels lower than the affected spell.

  • Perform DC: 15.

  • Effect: The effective caster level of the allied spellcaster is increased by one plus one for every five points by which the bard exceeds the DC of the Perform check for purposes of calculating the affected spell's duration.

  • Miscast: When the bard flubs this performance, the caster's level is treated as if it were one lower for the purpose of calculating the affected spell's duration. This virtual level decrease has no other effect, positive or negative, upon the spell being cast.
