While this spell is in effect, you gain several benefits that help you thrive in underground environments.

You gain a +5 enhancement bnus on Survival checks made to determine direction made while underground, Survival checks made to follow creatures over firm or hard ground, and Survival checks made to forage in an underground environment. In the case of foraging, there must be sufficient edible material to even attempt the check. If you are using Survival to track a creature throuhg natural caverns, you may move at your normal speed without penalty.

If you also have stonecunning, you gain an enhanced ability to notice unusual stonework. You can make Spot checks to notice unusual stonework within 20 feet. While cavernlore is in effect, you can also make Spot check to notice worked materials made to look like natural stone, such as secret or concealed doors or traps. The DC of the Spot check is equal to the normal Search DC to locate worked material of stone providing that it is hidden in the first place.
