Many people believe that spellcasters can prophesy the method of an individual’s doom, telling a man if he will die in battle, by wild boar, or in bed. This is often true, but this spell lets you actually influence the target’s ultimate fate. You designate a specific person, a type of weapon, a type of creature (such as animal, magical beast, or monstrous humanoid), or a location. The targeted individual suffers a -3 Armor Class penalty against all attacks by the specified person, weapon, creature type, or the specified location. The subject also takes an additional 1d6 points of damage from each successful attack by that doom or in that location.
