Campaign Design - Spells: Enslave

Enslave (from Gods)
Enchantment (Compulsion)[Mind-Affecting]

Level: Cleric/Favored Soul 5, Domination 5, Sloth 5
Components: V, S, M, DF
Casting Time: 1 full round
Range: Close (25 feet + 5 feet per 2 caster levels)
Target, Effect, or Area: 1 living creature of the caster's size or smaller
Duration: 1 hour per caster level (D)
Saving Throw: Will negates
Spell Resistance: Yes

The caster is able to force the target to do whatever the caster wishes for the duration of the spell, even things that are against the target's nature. The subject is under the caster's complete control. Self-destructive orders grant the target an additional saving throw with a +4 circumstance bonus. Once control has been established, the target obeys orders for the duration of the spell.

Complex orders must be given verbally, as it is the caster's voice commands that become irresistible to the target. The caster and the target must share a common language or the target is unable to understand complex commands. Hand gestures may be understood, depending on the intelligence of the target, but the caster must still speak the commands to exert their will.

Subjects resist this control, but unless they make their Will save, they are powerless to refuse any commands except those that cause them to harm themselves.

Material component: A small portion of organic matter taken from the target such as hair, blood, or saliva.
