Given a mere portion of a book, this powerful dweomer can restore the entire volume. For the spell to function, at least 15% of the book must be gathered together: Fragments of pages, pieces of binding, and whatever else has survived. The caster must also know what the book is, although not necessarily how to read it. That is, the spell cannot be cast on any pile of book fragments. The caster must know the name and general contents of the book he is trying to restore. When the spell is completed, the book is completely restored, appearing as it did when first completed. If the book contained magic spells, however, there is a base 1% chance for every level of spell in the book of the spell failing, destroying even the fragmentary remains. Thus, if a book contains three 7th level spells, there is a base 21% chance of this spell failing. This chance can be reduced with a Spellcraft check, with each point rolled on the check reducing the chance of failure by 1%.
Arcane material component: A piece of leather, a drop of ink, and a piece of parchment.
