The affected creature becomes unlucky. This spell cancels the creature's ability to use luck points on any roll for the duration of the spell; attempts to do so still remove luck points from the target's luck pool, but instead of a reroll, the target gains a -4 penalty on the original roll.
This spell is most commonly used by coolers in gambling halls to slow down a player on a lucky streak. Gamblers who find that this spell has been used against them typically enraged that the house is "jinxing their luck" - to prevent this, the house often follows up with spells such as
forget.
