You call upon the light of the North Star to shine down on you wherever you are. The light will shine through the earth, through water, and through the most impenetrable darkness, whether natural or magical. Only you can see the light, which hovers just ahead of you, but you can navigate by it, always aware of which way is true north. The only place the light will not reach is to planes other than the mortal realms: It will reach any of the Three Worlds, the Shadow Realm, or any of the Fæy Realms.
