Campaign Design - Spells: Wall of Earth

Target, Effect, or Area: Earth wall whose area is up to one 5 foot square per caster level

Spell Resistance: No

This spell creates a wall of earth that springs forth from the ground. The target area must be an area of exposed earth, otherwise the wall fails to materialize and the spell is lost. The wall of earth is 1 inch thick per 3 caster levels and is composed of up to one 5-foot square per level. The caster can double the wall's area by halving its thickness. The wall of earth cannot be conjured so that it occupies the same space as a creature or another object.

Like a wall of stone, this wall can be destroyed by disintegrate or by normal means such as digging. Each -foot square has 5 hit points per inch of thickness and a hardness of 4. Any attacks on the wall hit automatically and when a section of the wall drops to 0 hit points, it is considered breached. If a creature tries to break through the wall with a single attack, the DC for the Strength check is 15 + 2 per inch of thickness.
