General Rules: Feats - Construct Familiar

Construct Familiar [Familiar, General]
Your familiar is a construct rather than a living being.
  Prerequisites: Must have a familiar as a class feature.
  Benefit: Rather than a living creature, your familiar is a magical construct, a mechanical creature animated by magic. The arcane spell-caster must still specify a specific animal to call as a familiar but the familiar that appears is a clockwork version of that creature. See the Advanced Bestiary, pages 42-44 for the clockwork creature template. You cannot convert an existing familiar to a construct familiar by taking this feat.
