Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target, Effect, or Area: One object touched (and those viewing it)
Duration: 1 minute per caster level
Saving Throw: Will negates (see text)
Spell Resistance: Yes

The thieves' charm spell changes the perception of ownership of an item that does not belong to you. Creatures viewing this touched item become convinced that it belongs to you rather than to its proper owner. Only those that actually know the truth of the matter are allowed a saving throw to resist the spell's effects.

Arcane material components: A copper piece and a marked piece of paper.
