The great war mammoth of Iku-Tyrma towers over the battlefield as a living siege weapon. In battle, this evil beast wear hell-forged full plate barding, concealing every inch of its body. Eight great curving tusks twist out of its maw. As a calf, each mammoth has its eyes burned out with boiling blood, the scent of which remains in the tortured beast's nostrils - it thereafter thirsts for the destruction of humanity. As Iku-Tyrma's infernal servants breed these creatures in the depths of the Frost Giant God's fortress, they are never encountered in the wild. Frost giants and unholy warriors devoted to Iku-Tyrma sometimes receive these creatures to reinforce a mortal army at war with the forces of light.

Mammoths of Iku-Tyrma can understand, but cannot speak, Infernal.

Whenever encountered on the field of battle, mammoths of Iku-Tyrma are encased in their full plate barding, and atop their backs are war platforms that provide 50% cover to their inhabitants. The platform can hold six occupants or two ballista and their crews. Those calling the creatures use them as vanguards of their armies, sowing massive destruction among their enemies. The very sight of the mammoth on the battlefield is erosive to their opponent's morale.

Unholy warriors devoted to Iku-Tyrma of at least 16th level may select a mammoth of Iku-Tyrma as their dark ally. Their effective unholy warrior level is treated as being ten levels lower than normal for the purpose of determining the special powers the mammoth receives as a result of its status as a dark ally.

Smite Good (Su): Once per day, the mammoth of Iku-Tyrma may make a normal attack dealing additional damage equal to its Hit Dice (maximum +20) against a good foe. If the mammoth accidentally smites a creature that is not good, the smite has no effect, but the ability is still used up for that day.

Trample (Ex): As a move action, the mammoth of Iku-Tyrma may move through occupied squares, inflicting the listed damage. This action provokes an attack of opportunity; however, those foregoing such attempts may make a Reflex save (DC 20) to move to an adjacent square to avoid the damage.

Blind-Sight (Su): Having had its eyes removed, the mammoth relies upon other methods of "vision". The mammoth can see all creatures within 60 feet regardless of lighting conditions. Sonic attacks or being deafened reduces this range to 10 feet for as long as the effect remains.
