General Rules: Feats - Dogs of War

Dogs of War [Prime Bloodgift] (from AEG's Feats)
You have an animal companion. It is trusted and loyal.
   Prerequisites: Charisma 17+, Constitution 13+, Wisdom 13+.
   Benefit: You gain an animal companion,with which you share a strong bond. Use the rules for familiars in the Player’s Handbook to advance the animal, adding that at 5th level, you gain the Scent trait. Choose your companion from the list below.

BadgerMaster gains +2 bonus to Dexterity
BobcatMaster gains +2 bonus to Hide checks
ConstrictorMaster gains +2 bonus to Strength
DogMaster gains +4 bonus to Survival checks, dog gains +10 bonus to movement
EagleMaster gains +8 bonus to Spot checks in daylight
Mountain LionMaster gains +2 bonus to Move Silently checks
WolfMaster gains +2 bonus to Spot checks
Should you ever lose the companion, you suffer the effects listed in the Player’s Handbook for losing a familiar and you may never replace the animal.
   Special: This feat can only be chosen at 1st level, during character creation. A character can have no more than one 1st-level bloodgift.
