General Rules: Feats - Track by Hearing

Track by Hearing [General, Khülen, Savage Humanoid] (adapted from the Player's Guide to Rangers and Rogues)
You have learned to hone your hearing to such an extent that you are able to track the movements of others through sound alone.
   Prerequisites: Wisdom 13+, Track, Listen 5+ ranks.
   Benefit: Tracking creatures for one mile by hearing alone requires a Listen check. The tracker must make another Listen check every time the sound of the creature's movement becomes difficult to follow, such as when the target stops moving or when other noises drown out the sound of its movement.

You move at half normal speed or at normal speed with a -5 penalty on the Listen check. The Track DC depends on the size and number of creatures being tracked, as well as other conditions.

If you fail a Listen check, you can retry the roll after 15 minutes when outdoors or 5 minutes when indoors. The target must be within one mile for this ability to be effective.
   Special: A character with this feat gains a +3 synergy bonus on all Survival checks made in conjunction with the Track feat.
   Normal: A character without this feat cannot attempt to track by hearing alone.
